Return & Exchange Policy

At Jaipur Pottery, we take great care in creating, packing, and shipping your handmade pottery. We want you to be delighted with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully.

We Accept Returns/Exchanges For:

  • Items damaged during shipping.

  • Items with a manufacturing defect (e.g., crack, major glaze flaw) that we missed.

  • We do not accept returns for "change of mind" or buyer's remorse on standard items. Each piece is unique and handmade.

Timeframe:
You must notify us of any issues within 7 days of receiving your order. For damage in transit, please contact us within 48 hours with photos.

Condition:
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same perfect condition you received it. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

The Process:

  1. Email Us First: Contact us at hello@jaipurpottery.com with your order #, photos (if applicable), and reason for return.

  2. Get Approval: We will respond with instructions and a Return Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted.

  3. Pack Securely: Repack the item in its original, double-boxed packaging with all padding. We cannot be responsible for damage during return shipping.

  4. Ship It Back: Mail your return to the address we provide using a trackable, insured service. For change-of-mind returns (if accepted), you are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refunds & Exchanges:

  • For Damaged/Defective Items: We will promptly send a replacement (if available) or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid return label.

  • For Approved "Change of Mind" Returns (at our discretion): We will issue a store credit minus a 15% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Refund Timing: Refunds/credits are processed within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom or commissioned work.

  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Second" on the product page.
